I don't think that's a problem - all of my career growth is due to being willing to learn new tasks and grow my skills and experience. Also, there are so many roles that overlap, staying in one narrow lane will really limit your career.
Sometime in January, I was called for an interview for a Data Analyst role and the interview was purely Data Science and Data Engineering.
It was funny at the time as I had to start learning about the field and eventually I got the job only to be turned down.

The problem is that most companies want the skills of a data scientist and a data engineer from a person who's meant to be analysing data.
